AI and blockchain infrastructure venture ZEKTO has officially joined the Vietnam Blockchain and Digital Assets Association (VBA) — the key channel for Vietnam's government digital asset policy development — as an Associate Member, firing the opening shot for its entry into the local institutional landscape. According to industry sources on the 20th, ZEKTO recently conducted a VBA membership ceremony during the 'Vietnam RWA Summit 2026' held in Hanoi, Vietnam, officially joining as a member of the local digital finance ecosystem. VBA is the key institution connecting regulators such as the State Securities Commission (SSC) and the State Bank of Vietnam with the private sector, and through this membership, ZEKTO has obtained official practical qualifications to participate in discussions on Vietnam's market design.
◆ ZEKTO Targets 'Global Standard', Aligns Steps with Local Regulatory Authorities
ZEKTO's VBA membership is not a one-off move for Vietnam market entry, but part of a thoroughly planned global infrastructure expansion strategy. This is because close policy coordination with regulatory authorities is essential for ZEKTO, which pursues a 'non-custodial settlement/finality' model in which merchants do not directly receive virtual assets but instead receive final settlement in local legal tender (VND).
In particular, ZEKTO has attracted market attention by fully restructuring its business direction around 'SSDA', its global-standard stablecoin settlement solution. By securing VBA membership in the Vietnamese market — where the boundaries between regulation and finance are strict — the company is assessed to have established a decisive bridgehead for building a legally compliant data verification and settlement structure in collaboration with local banks and licensed exchanges going forward.

In addition, the company is conducting localized technical verification (PoC) of the SSDA system through dedicated hardware terminals centered on select offline retail locations, accumulating empirical data.
As these businesses are developed within the credible framework of VBA, ZEKTO's position as an infrastructure partner that fully satisfies the anti-money laundering (AML) and foreign exchange management requirements that Vietnamese authorities prioritize above all else is expected to become increasingly solid.
