Q&A
What kind of service is KONET Mainnet?
KONET Mainnet is a self-built EVM-compatible mainnet (Layer 1) for building and operating digital asset and blockchain-based services. KONET L1 supports the issuance, burning, transfer, payment, and settlement of digital assets including stablecoins, as well as the operation of smart contracts, tokens, NFTs, and DApps. Blockchain records related to payment verification and digital receipts are currently also processed primarily through KONET L1.
What advantages does KONET Mainnet have?
KONET is developing a permissioned Layer 3 network based on Arbitrum technology to more efficiently process the large volume of transaction results generated by enterprise services such as payments, settlement, verification, and digital receipts, and a pilot service is currently being built. After pilot operation and verification, the plan is to gradually transfer large-scale verification and receipt processing functions to L3.
Transaction usage on L3 will be aggregated and settled, and under a defined policy, a corresponding amount of KONET will be burned on KONET L1 in line with that usage. Through this, we aim to build an ecosystem in which growing enterprise use of L3 translates into real usage and burning of KONET.

What business does ZEKTO run as a blockchain specialist company?
We are building a stable digital finance ecosystem through the following businesses.
What is a stablecoin?
A stablecoin is a cryptocurrency whose price is kept stable based on the value of a real-world asset such as the US dollar, Korean won, or gold. Unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum, whose prices fluctuate sharply, its defining feature is preserving a consistent value.
Why are stablecoins necessary?
Ordinary cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, making them difficult to use for payments or remittances. Because of their stability, stablecoins can function like real currency for payments, cross-border remittances, and digital asset trading, which increases the practical usability of blockchain.
How does a stablecoin maintain a value of $1 (or another currency unit)?
There are mainly two approaches.
What is the relationship between blockchain and stablecoins?
Blockchain is a technology that records transactions transparently and securely. Stablecoins are issued on top of this technology and function as digital assets with trustworthiness and traceability.
Where are stablecoins used?
How is the safety of stablecoins guaranteed?
We maintain trustworthiness through holding real-asset reserves, external audits, and transparent, publicly disclosed blockchain records. We also apply the latest security protocols to protect users from hacking or system breaches.
What advantages do stablecoin transactions have over traditional bank transfers?
Are stablecoins safe from a regulatory standpoint?
We prioritize compliance with the laws and financial regulations of each country. We cooperate with regulators, and stablecoins operated within a legal framework are increasingly integrated with mainstream financial systems.
How will stablecoins develop in the future?
Going forward, stablecoins are expected to be linked with central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) or become a core tool of global payment infrastructure. They will also expand further as a bridge connecting the real economy with blockchain.
